eheim 2217 spare parts and WTB buy broken one

i have at home a eheim classic 2217 the outtake tube has snapped off the head and i was just wondering if anyone had a 2217 with a broken case and working head that they would be willing to sell.

i have looked on the internet and all the spare parts are over seas and cant be shipped and i rang the eheim australia help centre but of course the were no help and have asked at aquariums but it looks like it will be very expensive because they say you have to buy the entire head motor and all however i know that you can actually take the case of the head off so if any one knows where i could get one of those from in Australia or any eheim spare parts in australia i would really like to know.

Wow! I'm surprised its so difficult.I mean they sell Eheim with the premise that spares are readily available..

Nah, I've snapped them before too. Was going to have to buy a new head motor, so I just bought a new canister altogether. Funny thing is, it cost me less than the replacement head was going to be. Gotta love eBay...

yeah i could not beleive it would be so hard either

it looks like i am going to buy another canister off ebay too, however i did i liitle more serching and found one site that sell motor cases which are only 45 and thats all i need cause im pritty sure my motor is fine.
