Sounds like an ideal set up...

A few suggestions/queries though, why a sump tank?

Most planted tank people tend to go for a cannister type filter, myself included. Also, with the proposed planting list, I would seriously think about a more permanent CO2 injection system with regulator.

A sump tank is more likely to disperse the CO2, this is probably the main reason a cannister filter may be more suitable for a planted tank. Other peoples may have other thoughts on this??

Cheers

Hi,

the reason for the sump is to hide everything inline heater inline co2 diffuser. After some research I am going with pressurized co2 try the link again it works for me http://www.dursostandpipes.com/

I will post pics as I go along for sure.

The link now works OK for me.

With a sump of the size your suggesting the CO2 bit may work (it's bigger than my last tank!!:)).

Look forward to see the WIP photos.

I am aware of the co2 gassing of but the way its designed there will be no trickle or fast water movement and the sump will fill from the bottom
