how much Iron gravel for a 3ft tank

HEy i was just wondering how many kgs of iron gravel you would mix with the normal gravel in a standard 3ft tank to sustain a semi-heavily planted tank

i don't think you could OD on gravel.
the stuff works wonders.

hey luke,

umm... for a three foot...if you were to cover an inch high with gravel.
probably around 30 to 40 kilos.
Rough estimate.
it would probably leave you with a bit extra by a couple of kilos.

speaking of iron gravel, do you think it ever looses it's properties?
