Kribensis with a hole in his head

A few weeks ago we noticed a small white lump on his head, kind of like a pimple. It went away and I didn't think any more of it until I noticed him lying wonky behind the filter this morning. He has quite a large hole where the little lump has been and it started to bleed when I took him out the tank.

HELP!

Is there hope for him or do I need to put him to sleep? Either way...what do I do?

You should be able to find other posts in the forums about hole in the head. However, it's one of those conditions that is very hard to treat and one for which different methods have varying levels of success depending on the circumstances.
