Hi guys, just this morning I noticed one of my clown fish was looking a bit ill, so I kept an eye on him until just now when I went to turn hte lights off and feed the fish I noticed both looked like they've had their fins nipped at.
Now when I looked over to see how my x2 sterbai corys are doing I noticed one looks like his top fin has been nipped and he looks abit sick also.
So this is my question, could it be that my Sailfin Gibbicep (who's suddenly grown quite big) has been bullying my clown loaches and corys? I have a pleco in there as well, and at one time I saw the Gibbicep chase it when it wanted to eat its algae wafer. Another fish I have which I'll be moving from my tank once the new tank has fully cycled is a baby saratoga. It's quite small about 10cms length and 5cms tall. I don't think he would swim all the way to the bottom to bully the other fish, as I've never seen him swim as low as half way down the tank. Any help would be really appreciated.
I've moved the clown loaches and the cory to a quarantine tank for the time being.
