Hi guys, I am looking at putting some driftwood into my tank which will require me to move some plants around, i was wondering what would be the best way to move my plants. Could i just pull them out and reposition them?

i would say it would be fine to just gently pull them and all the roots out and move them however if they have their roots well developed you might want to scoop out some gravel and all the roots and dig a hole in the new position and put the plant in with the old gravel.
as long as you make sure the roots are still submerged in gravel and you arn't ruff with the plants and expecially the roots you sould be fine.
i would go with moving the gravel with the roots it will just disrupt them less
hope that helps

Thats all i do, i just did mine yesterday, and was very hard on the prune back and have always dome so with no problems, unless of course you have a special substrate set up or particularly fragile plants, then u might want to be a little more careful!

Thanks

Wrapped in damp newspaper they will last a couple of days at least. If you do that and pop them in a foam box to prevent temperature fluctuation, they can last longer.

That's actually the way they are shipped if you order them over the internet.
Should be fine for probably up to at least five days or even longer.:D.
Cheers
