I want to grow Riccia and from my research it seems you HAVE to have a fertilizer and co2 loaded tank , is this really the case? I don't fertilize much and certainly don't have co2 injection, am i wasting my $$$$ buying some? I have t5 lighting but thats about it!

It's really hungry stuff mate, you might be able to get away without CO2 if you use Excel (Seachem) though. I know a bloke who grows those beautiful riccia tanks you see in the magazines using the Seachem range, but I couldn't tell you what lights he uses. I would think your T5's would be adequate, but it depends on the depth of the tank.
