Recently purchased two juvi bass around 1 1/2" in size.
They've been in my comm tank with other small fish for around a week now.
Only problem is, they haven't even touched any of the food during feeding times.
I've tried freeze dried, pellets, flake, black worms, frozen worms even baby guppies.
hey haven' seem to be eating anything.
help?

Good to see you have sorted it out , wont they attack your other fish being in a community tank? they are a large mouthed fish with wild traits, i would have thought you would have to house them in there own tank.

My bass are only small, as far as wild traits are concerned.
they're scared shitless by all the other fish.
but they will be in their own tank once they grow a bit more.

hey cichlid boy:)
just wondering how big your tank is with the bass?
and what you will be upgrading it to?

my bass is growin slowly, hes only 2".
hes in a 3'er with my small africans and other natives.
he will be moved to my native only set up once he reaches around 5" along with my sooty grunters and tandanus cat.
if i moved him any sooner, he would easily fit into my 60cm barra's mouth, or else my 30cm tandanus would've gotten to them.
size is a real issue with fish lol
