trimming dead leaves

hey guys i have just set up my first planted aqurium and was just wondering what the go is with timming the dead leaves should i wait until the entire leave is dead or should i trim it when part of it starts to die or sould i just cut off the dead part of the leaf and leave the rest

I tend to trim them wen they start looking sad, i believe the plant directs its resources toward the dying or damaged leaves taking away valuable nutrients etc from the growing plant , if that makes sense!

yeah kinda so once the leave starts to look like its dying cut the whole leaf off yeah?
