Yep I'd get rid of anything that is not a parent and also get rid of the internal power filter.The fry wil all get sucked into it.
The sponge filter will do just fine.

Perhaps next time.
but get rid of the other fish so that the parents will be relaxed,it may help stop them doing it again.
If they persist on eating the eggs remove the eggs into their own tank and rear the young yourself.
i love to move them to another tank but i cant selling unit for a house so hopefully will sell quick so i can build my fish room were wife cant see how many tanks i have
need more tanks getting over run with fry lol

heres a question i thought i might pull filter out and scrap eggs into a glass jar filling with tank water and putting back into tank withair stone in jar what do you think my chance will be thanks

Now if you had removed the power filter and just left the sponge filter everything would have been fine.
My only suggestion would be to turn the power filter off once the young hatch and leave the filtration up to the sponge.
